I'm listening to Abba Gold and it reminds me of nycb. Argh!! I miss nycb!! I wonder if I should go watch the concert this coming monday. As much as I still love listening to band music, I am more or less detached from band. I miss njcsb too. *ouch*

Went NTU for freshmen welcome ceremony. It was a get-together with many people, like liying, jiamin, ferrarina, eunice wong and many other familiar faces! GOSH! I never knew that I will meet them today and what really excites me is that I can be classmates with chokwan, eunice & Joanne again! Miss the fun we once had before.

As the day progresses, I must admit that I got a little skeptical. Many thoughts ran through my mind. On a side note, like what rachelle mentioned, Hermes guys are gentlemen and I really appreciate all the help offered by them =) we watched 'The Mummy' at Jurong point and I personally do not think that it is a very worthy movie to watch.

o I met up ee chan & Harry last night! we had fun at the arcade and thank you harry for the treat! =)

I WENT TO NIGHT SAFARI LAST NIGHT FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE =)

We had a mini-class gathering consisting of wenqi, meiping, justin, kian pang & me. This outing was initiated by me coz I have got 50% off Admission tickets! whee~ I have always been wanting to go there but haven't got a chance but I am glad to say that it's worth taking a look at the world class Night Safari in Singapore!

I saw fruit bats, hippo, rhino, deers, flying squirrel, otter, elephants, porcupine & many many more!! Of which, I enjoyed looking at the Otter most. There were 2 young otters living togther and they seem to be very playful as they will swim around and play hide and seek with each other! one of them even stood up in bewilderment and stare at us. wahaha~ they were really cute & they make funny noises! I felt like bringing them home to keep. hehe.

The fruit bats are HUGE! oh my goodness. it's quite funny coz the keepers actually cut the fruits into half and then stick them onto the tree branches for the bats to eat. O and there's this golden jackal that is known to be the god of death or sth. This is because they are often seen around dead corpses!

hey guys! I am back to my super busy lifestyle again! apart from meeting friends I found myself some work to keep me occupied. Btw, Minds outing was fun! we were really noisy and many turned up and to top it all, the birthday cake was super YUMMY! As I needed to go for family dinner somewhere near farrer park, I navigated my way from bugis to dhoby ghaut & then to Little India. It's a matter of time for me to know these places more in-depth.

Anyway! I finally met my dearest 204 peeps. It was really hard to organize one meeting considering the fact that most of us are really busy with our work and other commitments. went work with my sis on wed and got to know a lot more about her and thank you for always buying me food =D

o, I finally met Kenneth today after 6 months of trying to fix a date to meet up. Thank him for his Ajisen dinner too! hhaha~ It feels good to meet primary school friends and catch up with each other.

I think I should do sth about my blog skin coz it's so so so incomplete. shall see how again! next week is gonna be packed for me as well. haha. cheers!

hey hey!! I am back with part 2!

so on day 4 after the shi zhi lu kou we made our way back to aloha loyang. mingle cheer is really useful in making people walk faster!!! lol. Mm. After reaching chalet, everyone was busy changing and preparing. To keep is short, my sp and I went to Sun with Moon at CHIJMES for dinner. After that we made our way to cafe Iguana & then to Arena. I didn't bring my IC and was so afraid that the bouncer will check. It was an eye-opener for me to go Arena coz I haven't got the chance to see one for myself. Somehow, I didn't quite like the place. After awhile, hermes peeps went to the stage area and started dancing and I was a little stone coz I didn't know how to dance and was starting to feel giddy? haha~ After some time I got into the correct mood and started to dance along with the music and I was telling myself that since this is probably one of the v rare chances that I will be in such places, why not enjoy myself and have fun? haha~ We left the place at 3am and made our way back! It was hard to keep ourselves awake but most of us did.

day 5
the last day finally came and after packing out stuff, we headed back to NTU again. This time we played a mass game that involved snake & ladder and it reminds me of HELP Camp 2008 coz we played the same game too! hehe. It was fun but I seriously cannot run anymore!! panting like mad after running a short distance. oops! After the game we had lunch at 4pm & thereafter we had the closing ceremony.

We had an emo talk and somehow I couldn't control myself. Many broke down but we were all so proud to be part of this big family.they made a v nice photo frame for each of us and it's sitting on my desk next to my bed right now. we ordered pizza & sushi and took lots of photos! hope that I can lay my hands on these photos soon coz I wanna develop them! I will miss my fav senior most! followed by Micheal & all other gls & seniors =) Yes. the camp has ended but many other things are just about to start.

saturday!
Alright, so I spent the whole day sleeping at home and I gave the Band BBQ a miss. Even though I was in my lala-land the whole day, I wanna thank my special someone for buying mac and bringing it to my house just because he knows that I haven't eaten at all. Thank you for everything! I really appreciate it =) the meal was super tasty even though I took almost an hour to finish it coz I was too tired to eat. haha~

sunday!
finally I am writing about today! =) went out the whole day starting from bugis to cathay & lastly to ps. watched hellboy 2 and was a little sleepy at the cinema. hehex. had dinner at the food court & the lady was nice enough to give me a new kopitiam card. met fan di over there and got a shock! I will probably see her around in NTU again soon! To end the day, we went to arcade to play the throwing balls game! it was really fun!!! if I own that machine, I will probably play it everyday. wahaha~

yupp so it's bed time again. good night all =)

I am having post camp hype!!

Nanyang Business School Freshmen Orientation Camp RAWK totally! It was the best camp ever and I am sure it will continue to stay as the best camp in my life. I LOVE HERMES and all my seniors. haha~ When I first received the Application Form in June, I was very hesistant as to whether I should go for the camp. Out of 600+ applicants, I found myself lucky to get into this camp thanks to the type-writer! =D

YEs yeS YES! I was so afraid of everything initially but I am now proud to say that I have learnt a lot, especially in terms of character buidling. the camp rawks!!

day 1
We met at boon lay mrt & took bus to NTU. Dao Sheng & Mei Fang are my buddies and I was quite taken aback when seniors actually asked the guys to carry the bags for us! We had talks from the sponsors and I realized that the air-con was so cold that I was freezing coz I was wearing FBT shorts! My dear CGL Micheal bought us Milo from Mac to quench our thrist. heh. When I found out that Sebastian was a fake freshie (he's actually a year 3 accountancy student), I felt so so SO CHEATED. OH MY! how can they cheat our feelings. haha. we had field games and all of a sudden I couldn't concentrate of what I was doing -- seeing the halls and sports complex triggered some memories. Anyway! I met year 3 senior Adeline and found out that she was from nj band! we talked so much about mr ho and the people that we know. At about 12 plus at night, we had supper proudly sponsored by our seniors! they bought fried bee hoon, roti prata, kopi & tea for us to eat in the middle of a cold and rainy night. o and thanks to my buddy dao sheng, mf & I did a super dui lian forfeit (the water melon, banana, raisins & rambutan one). haha! at night we went to nanyang lake. I was so so so SHOCKED and DUMBFOUNDED when I found out what ny lake was about. THANKS SENIORS. After taking a shower at about 4.20am I thought that I could have my beauty sleep but no! we made our way to sentosa!

day 2
for goodness sake! I found myself sleeping for only about an hour before we all had to wake up for beach activities. Everyone was tired but the guys are still quite sporty and they participated actively. There's this game whereby we have to pour sand into opponent's bag. Thinking that it was very fun, I volunteered to play. When the game started I was running like mad! the other team, pubma, was very aggressive and they were all out to win. My supposed fun game became a nightmare all of a sudden coz the runing really shag me out! ouch! Beach activities were pretty fun and we kept doing photo formation and every attempt to dry myself was frutile. the washing machine in the water was quite funny too! following that we had ah gua show! thumb up to yiyong! the 'girls' looked so HOT and SEXY with their Z Cup. haha! After all the games, seniors treated us to ben & Jerry ice cream. WOWWWWWWWW! and it was definitely VERY VERY YUMMY! I fell in love with strawberry cheesecake! shall go eat it again someday. we left for changi chalet after that & My chalet was next to the one I had for my pri sch gathering. We had fright night and buddies consisted of amanda & Liang qi. Amanda & I were screaming like mad and we were sticking ourselves to Liang qi. I suffered momentary blindness after being blind folded for too long. Sebastian bought us doughnuts at night! wheeeeeee~ we slept at 1 plus as promised. haha =D

day 3
we practised our dance and made our way back to NTU for pool games. We played the 'Tuo1' game and only the guys actually took off everything. girls have simply got too many hair accessories! Somehow I regretted not knowing how to swim better coz the games were really fun! whenever I go down to deep water I could feel myself floating away and people always have to pull me back! lol. we had confidence jump and it reminded me of OBS. even though we were last group to complete the game, all of us felt really happy and no tinge of sadness has ever lingered around us. hoohoo! so the performance night came and I was pretty worried coz I was in charged of the music. o well, we put up a good show in the end! great job hermes =D after that we met our secret pal. we were blind folded and it was quite lame! seniors sat around us and ka jiao us a lot. haha!! ming hui was busy disturbing everyone and Alex was saying:'Hey MARY!' and I was like %@(&&#*%*)@! IM NOT MARY! RAH! -.-"

haha~ after the interaction we left NTU to aloha loyang chalet. sounds good eh! we played the traffic light game after that and slept at 5am.

day 4
(I have typed so long and I am only at day 4 >.<)
alright, so after breakfast today we were dressed up. we had banana leaves, pandan leaves & chopsticks on our head. seniors smeared paint on our faces and I looked HORRIBLE! yong ming wrote on my left hand 'call me sarah' while alex wrote on my right hand 'My MARY'.. we went on a food trail called shi zhi lu kou, the one similar to jacky wu's variety show. heh. shall go back there someday to eat! o on a side note, I was made to kiss a frog! Ewwwwwwwww! We ate roasted duck, laksa, mee sua, wanton mee, prawn noodle, otah, teochew porridge & many many more =)

oh my goodness! Even though I am not working now but I still find myself VERY BUSY! Gosh!

Let me recall a little. Last monday I met up with Shi zhen after about a year and had a good chat with her & saw Ma Jun & Wei ting there too. Met Yumin for Tea at Pasta Place =) Had dinner with Justin and we walked around town for the entire night and finally settled down at Lucky Plaza to eat porridge. Somehow we both missed the porridge we had at Veerasamy Road and most probably we will go back there again to taste the porridge if we get the chance! hehe.

I spent my Tuesday with my gan ma and my gu gu. Somehow I finally went out with them during my holiday as promised! I actually followed them to their classmate's house for some gathering & I found out that the HDB flats nowadays are becoming gorgeous and they look like condo! went town after that to meet bix and jiahao and I spent almost half the day in town again. haha.

wed I went to the crematorium to pay my grandma my respect. Thurs I went to JB with my parents & aunt for food! haha~ Celebrated Mum's & Dad's Birthday by giving them a treat =) o we bought a mocca cake from malaysia and it's really good! and it costs so much cheaper there. Friday I met Aunt Alice for dinner and as usual she treated me. Shall find a day to treat her! Anyway she bought me to wine tasting! it's really cool and I did learn quite a lot. thank you!

Changes are always taking place and sometimes it is hard to change the environment around us. It will only be weird if one doesn't change and I realize that I am not the only one changing. For most people who are interacting with others, especially with the working society, they have changed to become more reserved about themselves. haha. o well. No matter what, I still strongly believe that staying morally upright is very important.

I am going to NBS Camp tomorrow and I am quite excited! I haven't been to a camp for super long and I think I will be shagged out for the next 5 days coz if I don't have enough sleep, I will turn into a walking zombie. OH NO. so let's pray that I can sleep during the camp. haha! I don't really mind anything else. I better go pack my stuff.. if not I wun get to sleep tonight anymore. good night all! will be back for more updates after I come back =D
